The iconic singer once let the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in his house when they went on a holiday retreat. This even sparked controversy because of the gas and the other travel costs the monarchy had to pay. The place is placed above Nice, France. It was initially built to be artists’ colony, befitting someone like Elton.

So to make it his own, he had the help of the famed designers Fred Dilger and Monique Gibson and gave it a complete “Elton John” treatment. With the renovation, the house now carries Elton’s style and spirit. His French Riviera home’s features include a tower room where you can witness the majestic view of the Mediterranean Sea. His bedroom, which has an Andy Warhol painting hanging above his bed covered with a pink blanket in honor of his late friend Gianni Versace.
