Nia Long and Ime Udoka

At a young age, Nia Long already had quite a fascination for the arts. Along with studying for her classes, Long also took the chance to learn gymnastics, ballet, jazz, tap, the guitar, and of course, acting. Suffice to say, these experiences undoubtedly paid off in the end. Beginning her professional career around the late-1980s, the actress has since landed acting credits for projects such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Best Man, and Fatal Affair.

While she has undoubtedly made quite a name for herself under the spotlight, Long’s greatest achievement took place away from the glitz and glamour. Since 2010, the actress has been in a relationship with Ime Udoka. A former basketball player who played for teams such as the San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings, Udoka has since transitioned to a coaching career. Besides their respective careers, though, the two are now loving parents to their only son, born in 2011.
